Don't Believe The Type You don't think it You don't know it You don't feel this way You don't mean it So don't share it There's better things I'm sure you could say You don't believe it so don't repeat it it's not happening here Posting comment sharing pictures and stirring up the fear Chorus: UKIP if you really want to But, me? I'm wide awake! Britain First? No, I don't think so Your brain, it must be on a delay Mad ex-Tories they're telling stories without a care for the truth It's bar-room bore meets Jackanory and he's not looking for your proof Do me a favour friend or neighbour if this is your views I wont be offended if unfriended Just give me some good news Ch.

Hopes, Dreams and Possibilities Hopes and dreams Hopes and dreams Hopes and dreams and possibilities Hopes and dreams, it's the way it's got to be Hopes and dreams, it's my reality Hopes and dreams for you and me!

Violent Dancing Chorus: Are you sure that this is dancing? Are you sure that this is called having fun? Couldn't it at least be a bit less violent? I mean, this is punk rock as approved by The Sun Macho violent dancing knocking me everywhere Into the stage and onto the floor and even up in the air! Now, I've got a simple theory on why you have to dance like this constantly sticking the boot in, and punching out with your fists Ch. No, it's not because the music's played in an angry style That is the excuse that's made too often I think the real reason for you dancing like that is 'cause you're afraid of dancing near other men! Ch. It's the years of conditioning that's done without thinking You think you're liberated and not conforming But whether subconsciously or not, you're still frightened of your own body and that's why you still act macho when there's really no need to Ch.

Keep Britain Rubbish Shite singer, shite song shite guitar player, he's got it all wrong Tap, tap, tap, tapping Randomly hitting the keyboard keys Tap, tap, tap, tapping wont somebody out there listen to me Tap, tap, tap, tapping I'm missing the point by a million miles Tap, tap, tap, tapping My judgement is clouded by anger and bile Tap, tap, tap, tapping My only friends are people online Tap, tap, tap, tapping Wont somebody out there drop me a line Tap, tap, tap, tapping I want to make this country great Tap, tap, tap, tapping Unfortunately, I'm gonna do it with hate

International Anthem I have a question dear if you have any answers please to put an end to some of my fears answer my question please? What makes a country great? What is the benchmark that we make? How can we gauge, and how can we state that a country is great? Is it the number of millionaires draped in diamonds, gold and furs who breeze through life without a care do they make a country great? Or is it based on the economy? The stock exchange or industry? Jobs or universities? Do they make a country great? Or is it based on the wars gone by? The number of those who fought and died? Some for a cause, others were sold lies to make their country great I'll try to answer you dear to put an end to some of your fears because to me it seems so clear what makes a country great How you treat the most vulnerable, the old, the sick, the disabled and hold to account the culpable for those who are left in need Ability to love and care Show compassion when none is there When everyone are treated fair, That what makes a country great A nation built on equality, of tolerance and unity A helping hand to others, you see, It's what makes a country great I've tried to answer you dear to put an end to some of your fears because to me it seems so clear what makes a country great

Quick! Run! A Lion's Escaped And He's Heading For The Dentist! Take a seat in the chair, sit back and relax while I take a look, open wide, head back You're needing treatment, I see decay it's too far gone, I'll remove today Chorus: Quick! Run! There's a lion on the loose! Quick! Run! Just where's he heading to? It could be numb, it could be sore it's the price you pay and you know the score Some may follow, some may learn the price of life is less than you earn Ch: Quick! Run! He's got you in his sights Quick! Run! Right between the eyes You don't need no anaesthetic your apology is just pathetic No gas or air, no novocaine just a short sharp shock straight to the brain Ch: Quick! Run! He's taking all of the bad Quick! Run! The best treatment you ever had

15 Cigarettes A Day In every life a little rain must fall but I don't want to feel the sunshine anymore I feel such emptiness inside and since you've gone it's like a part of me died Chorus: So, forgive me when I curse that I'm still here Stuck in a life and in a world without you near Forgive me when I say, I just can't carry on Not in this life, not in this world, now you are gone Some people tell me time will heal that this is not the way that I will always feel Look to a future when it's bright Well, I've given it some thought and I've given up the fight Ch: I dreamt last night I held you tight When I awoke, you were nowhere in sight I dreamt last night that you were here When I awoke, I felt nothing but fear Ch.

Phone In Well I shan't be coming into work today I'm feeling really great I shan't be coming into work today I'm not just running late I shan't be coming into work today I'm feeling pretty fine I shan't be coming into work today I just can't spare the time Chorus: I'm phoning in well Not got a cough or a cold I don't feel sick and I don't feel old I shan't be coming into work today I'm feeling pretty good I shan't be coming into work today Instead I'm making love I shan't be coming into work today I'm feeling fit and well I shan't be coming into work today so I thought that I'd let you know Ch. The sun is shining and I'm feeling good I've better things to do Capitalism, it steals my labour so I'm taking it back from you Ch. I shan't be coming into work today I don't feel bad at all I shan't be coming into work today so I thought that I'd better call I shan't be coming into work today I don't think I ever will I shan't be coming into work today I think I have had my fill Ch.

Sandcastles 02:07
Sandcastles Me and Ellie built our castles We tapped our buckets with our spades We revealed our sand creations with beaming smiles at what we'd made Chorus: But nothing lasts forever It's not an if but a when? When the sea it washes over We have to start and build again With an unquestionable resilience Undefeated to the end Ellie's undeterred and building She starts the process once again Ch. As I watch the castles crumble and eroded by the sea Ellie takes her spade and bucket and she says 'Grandpa, follow me' Ch.

All The Love In The World To try and explain with no measurement gauge just how much that I love you I'll stretch out my hands as far as they'll go and say 'this much and so much more too'

about

Love songs. A collection of songs recorded as a benefit for Punks Against Domestic Abuse

A Feline Classics download release (and some hard copies in CD format available at gigs). Catalogue number JAC002

Punks Against Domestic Abuse originated to help create awareness within the punk scene. With stalls at gigs, leaflets and stickers to help publicise, and with benefit concerts and fundraisers arranged to raise both funds and awareness, PADA have now started a support group. They can put you in contact with other alternative people to talk to and put you in contact with people who can attend gigs with you (it does depend on location, but hang on in there, PADA is growing daily). If you need support, contact them via their Facebook page. With more likes and support to their Punks Against Domestic Abuse Facebook page, it can make survivors feel less alone.

All money raised (after Bandcamp and PayPal have taken their cuts) will go to PADA to help with publicity, leaflets and support networks

about

Chris Butler UK

Having taken up the rallying cry from the punk movement to pick up a guitar and make a noise - Chris did just that. He ran with the idea and hasn't stopped running since. Where he's going is anyone's guess for this singer songwriter...

Previous to this recent release, Chris’s CD If Not Now, When? was released on Feline Classics Records and is available from www.etsy.com/shop/chrisbutlersongs
