A song about love, loss and the grieving process. If we are lucky to live to a certain age, one of the downsides of getting older is that we lose some of the people that we love or care about along the way. It's about missing those people and unlike the mantras and clichés we're told such as 'time heals'; sometimes, it doesn't. Sometimes, there is a gaping hole forever in our lives where that person should be. I'm reaching that age where I get invited to funerals more than I do parties... The song tries to capture that soul destroying feeling of loneliness and is titled 15 Cigarettes A Day after reading a medical report that suggested the detrimental effects of loneliness have the same effects on a person's health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
